Developer Summit

For the community

Join the Ubuntu community to work, plan and socialise at the main event in the Ubuntu calendar.

If you’re a member of the Ubuntu community, the Ubuntu Developer Summit will be a rewarding and valuable experience. It is focused on helping community members get to know each other and solve problems together, bringing even more value to Ubuntu users.

You’ll get to meet community members you might have only ever met online, while participating and providing your input. In all, UDS is the best place to improve your knowledge and share best practice.

Five reasons to join us

  1. Meet the Community – With Ubuntu being such an online-focused community, you may have never met many of your fellow members. The Ubuntu Developer Summit provides a fantastic opportunity to work and socialise together face-to-face.
  2. Bring Your Insight to Ubuntu – Contribute your ideas and expertise in the discussions to help make the next release as strong as possible.
  3. Extend Your Knowledge – The environment is designed for learning, both directly, in plenary sessions and indirectly, in other sessions and corridor discussions.
  4. Experience the Planning Process – This is where we design, discuss and document our plans for the new release. Experiencing the release process will help improve your contributions to Ubuntu.
  5. Socialise With our Community – UDS is a work-hard, play-hard event. While the daytime sessions are intense, we like to build social bonds. We do this each night, with the Allstars music event taking place on Friday evening – all musicians and singers are encouraged to join in!

If you are able to join us in person, please register. Alternatively, you can participate remotely.
